Day 6 Monday 20th

The verb HAVE GOT is used to express possession (I have got a new car), to talk about illnesses (My daughter has got flu) and timetable events (I've got a meeting today). Remember that HAVE can replace HAVE GOT in every case and is the most common form in American English:
They have got some friends or They have some friends
But remember that the first one doesn't use an auxiliary to make the negative form or questions:
They haven't got any friend or They don't have any friend

I also post the Power Point I used today in class in case somebody wants to revise.
